python-demjson software package provides encoder, decoder, and lint/validator for JSON in Python, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-demjson
python-demjson is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-demjson package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-demjson *
You will get with python-demjson package name, version, architecture and description in a table
